Nearly twenty-five thousand residences in southeastern Queensland found themselves experiencing outages on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the region, bringing wind gusts topping over 100 km/h.
Massive Ice Stones and Widespread Damage
Locals witnessed large ice chunks reaching sizes of 7cm in some areas. Meteorological experts verified that various areas across the state had been affected by large hailstones.
